Rickie Lee Jones Live at the Theatre Carre, Amsterdam, September 3 1979 FM UPDATE A very good radio broadcast from her first promo tour. Digging through my box of old tapes I stumbled into this recording. I had already seeded this one in 2006, albeit in a different version. The first version was recorded in mono on my little Philips cassette recorder, patched with stereo tracks I recorded later from a partial rebroadcast on my Marantz recorder. But now, here is a another stereo recording, taken from two cassettes, which gave me the possibility to patch a fade in and out on the last track and an extra track which wasn't on the first seed ! ( 08 Up On The Roof) Track 06 Sentimental Journey is taken from my early seed and is in mono. Of Course I will have to omit the legally released track 01 Something Cool, which was on Rickie's cd release of "Girl at Her Volcano" (first released as a 10 inch EP) Send me a PM and I will help you out with that one. Setlist : 01 High Gear And Young Blood 02 Something Cool 03 Young Blood 04 The Last Chance Texaco 05 Weasel And The White Boys 06 Sentimental Journey 07 Coolsville 08 Easy Money 09 Chuck E's In Love 10 Up On The Roof 11 On Saturday Afternoons In 1963 12 Jam and band introduction Line up : Rickie Lee Jones - vocals, guitars, keyboards Neil Larsen - Keyboards Buzzy Feiten - Guitars Reggie McBride - bass Art Rodriguez - drums Steve Letzner - percussion Larry Williams - saxophone As a support act Rickie Lee Jones had The Larsen-Feiten Band which consisted of : Neil Larsen - Keyboards Buzzy Feiten - Guitars Reggie McBride - bass Art Rodriguez - drums Larry Williams - saxophone Steve Letzner - percussion Which were no other than her backing band !
