Here is a wonderful show of the Lindsay Cooper band "The Filmgroup" played Taktlos '85 enjoy the music... Changes Made (Nero 7): ----------------------- Cross-mixed all tracks (67:33), improves balance and instrument / voice clarity Fixed 7 digital glitches Fixed a few smaller glitches throughout Applied -3dB treble EQ to fix fierce high end 15% reduction of RH channel to centre stereo image Recovered start fragments of tracks from end of previous tracks Reduced applause level on left channel of all tracks by 15% Changed volume level of all tracks for consistent level Fixed quiet start of tr04, tr07 and tr08 Cut 3sec silence in the gap (tape flip?) at about 2.40 in tr09 Applied Nero noise print NR at a low setting so music not affected Smoothed transition between all tracks by: - combining contiguous tracks and small edit of transitions - deleted glitches / cuts between applause and (also during) announcements - deleting silence after abrupt cuts - reducing volume of loud announcements by 4-6dB - cutting applause fade out / in between tr07>08 - cross-fading most tracks Improved the fade out/in around 2.40 (tr09) the best I could manage Quality: very good (OP rating), now worth an A++ ------------------------------------------------------ This was a super recording which had very obvious phasing (balance hard right, little stereo image), a fair bit of noise and discontinuities between tracks, so I fixed all these and did a fair amount of further tidying up (details above). Now this is a superb listen, one of my best remasters, so with the approval and encouragement of OP 'chemako'.... Grab it quick and enjoy !!
